(At one point in the months that passed between Jason's traumatic first encounter with Tracy and Cadena's arrival in the scheme of things, Randall and Jason caught each other up on what had happened...)
Jason should send Tracy to live with Randall, or something.
Randall grins, "I can teach her how to flirt better!"
Jason doesn't need that! He has a bad enough time fighting off daydreams about someone else flirting.
"Well, what would you want me to teach her then?" Randall scratches his head curiously.
"How to behave!" Jason complains
Randall points out, "And in what way have I ever been a poster child for good behavior?"
"You're a cop. You can at least pretend," Jason points out
Randall admits, "I was never a really good cop!"
"Bullcrap," Jason retorts.
"Have you looked at my cop school grades?" Randall points out. "I did good on the technicals, but I just barely passed procedurals and attitude training!"
"What, you failed donut eating 101, and how to be a complete prat 302?" Jason asks.
Randall shuffles a foot. "... yes."
Jason snerks
Randall laughs. "Seriously, buddy, I got by on charms and good looks. If you want her to behave better, have you thought about sending her to room with Akiko?"
"I don't even know where she is," Jason admits.
Randall shakes his head. "Head down in your inventions again? Well I'll send you her contact info. She's still in the area, surprisingly enough."
"She is? I figured she would be near Inari," Jason admits, "Since Inari is her avatar technically."
Randall rubs his chin. "She looked kinda funny when I asked about that. I didn't want to pry, maybe you'll have better luck."
"Seriously?" Jason asks.
Randall grins. "Yeah, you're kind of... The doctor who brought her and Inari into this world, you know? It's a Creator thing."
"She was from this world," Jason points out, "And you were the big hero. I was tech support."
Randall shakes his head. "We did it together, Jason. If it were just me and Holly there, this world would be lookin' a lot more pixelly!"
"So, you didn't start dating her as all heroes are expected to?" Jason asks.
Randall shakes his head. "Holly got back together with Mark! Seems like she saw him in a new light after the whole adventure. And Akiko wanted to learn to live on her own, not, y'know... Defined by other people and what they wanted her to be." He grimaces. "Blake Forester put a whole new spin on that."
"But hey, I'm okay, there's this cute new agent in the force," Randall says with a wink.
Jason teases, "But what would she want with someone who can't even properly eat a donut?"
"I'll just have to order tacos instead," Randall jokes. "Can't go wrong with those! ... Wait. That's not an invitation to prove me wrong, Jason."
