Several dozen feet below the Temple of Inala in Babel is a hidden bunker. Inside the bunker is, among other things, a sleeping nest of sorts made from blankets and tapestries. Upon this mound sit two Eeee women and a Sphynx, listening to a ghost-like dragon head that hovers over the flayed-looking wrist of the Eeee with a tail.

"I think the best bet is to use the shadow to absorb the eggs," Kaira explains. "However, in order to find them you'll have to go by feel and kenning your way. Think of it like when you ken someone you're biting: you told me you could feel yourself spreading through their veins and arteries. You need to use that on yourself to sort of see your way through your guts. But since these 'eggs' are linked to your blood supply, you're going to have internal bleeding after each one is absorbed. It'd be ideal to reach all of them first, then absorb the whole clutch at once so Tulani can use the Light of Nala to heal you before it gets really bad. I also don't know if going through the navel will work this time - that was to get to your stomach, after all, not your blood vessels.."

"So, you're suggesting removing them all in one shot with the shadow?" Nicora clarifies, to be sure. "It would be easier to lay them, as disturbing as that is ... but not an option." She rubs her neck a bit before continuing, "My navel is the easiest access to try at first, though, it's already there. Otherwise I have to puncture myself."

"The shadow can poke holes in things too," Kaira notes. "However.. you have to be gentle. These things are alive, and living things react. If they're messing with your metabolism already, then they can probably communicate with each other - especially if one is being attacked. Who knows how they'd react?"

"That isn't particularly comforting. Isn't there a way to just keep them from growing anymore and leave them?" Nicora asks, "They're not hurting me now after all."

"I don't know much about horribs," Mave says. "But that sort of solution sounds like you'd need Life Magic. We've got the power for it, but I don't know any rituals for.. postponing an embryo's development."

"Then I guess I just have to try to devour them," Nicora says. She doesn't like the options, but being eaten from the inside out she likes even less. "Well, shall we try this and see what happens, then? I'll try to ... explore myself."

Tulani bites her lip. "Uh.. we could wait," she says. "Let them 'hatch' and all, and just.. use the Light to keep you from dying?" She doesn't look too thrilled with the plan. "They won't be so defensive or unpredictable then."

"Uh, I watched what they did to someone. That would be agonizing. Very very agonizing," Nicora says. "I'd rather risk it when they haven't hatched, truth be told, or find a way to leave them. But seeing as how we don't have a life mage, removing them is required. At least after this I won't be horrib infectable anymore. In theory." She then rubs her chin and notes, "Or even a more disturbing route could be having Kaira turn me into a large horrib and I go lay these in something else."

"I'm not sure that's how parasitic eggs work," Kaira notes. "These are plugged into you, it's not like you could move them. It's possible that blocking their feeds might starve them, but they might also just grow new ones."

"Well, just examining them might tell us that, right? And we could see what they do if agitated," Nicora notes.

"What do we do if they do something to you?" Tulani asks.

"Use the light ... then try not to panic?" Nicora answers. "They wouldn't likely try to kill me, they need me."

"They prefer paralyzed or comatose hosts, but from what you've told us that requires being poisoned by the horribs on a regular basis," Kaira notes. "They can't do it themselves. I expect they may cause pain if they can though."

"For a week at least they require my body to survive," Nicora points out.

"That's why we need to find out," Nicora says, "And if I can find them all, then a following pass might allow me to remove them."

Tulani makes sure the Light is fully sheathed before any shadow tricks ensue.

"IT's also weird that I feel sort of ... fond of them. It's like having kids, sort of. But that might also be them influencing me," Nicora notes as she decides to lie down in the nest for this.

"Do you want us to tie you up or anything?" Tulani asks. "And.. there's no chance of the eggs exploding or anything, right?"

"I don't think horribs are anything like eeps," Mave notes.

"I'll try to monitor Nicora's vital signs as best I can," Kaira offers.

"Hm, you might want to tie me spread-limbed in case they cause muscle spasms," Nicora suggests, "Or, er, put me in some of the restraints down in the pleasure dungeon."

"Tying you down during a spasm could break your bones," Mave says, speaking wit the voice of experience. "I've seen it happen in the dungeon before."

"Then best to just try it here and see what happens?" Nicora asks Mave.

"I'm sure you'll be fine if you're careful," the Yodhinala says.

"Don't forget to use your.. kenning.. senses," Kaira advises. "I'm not sure if they'll help you locate the foreign bodies or not though."

"If I'm not, I will haunt you," Nicora remarks a bit dryly to Mave as she stretches out and closes her eyes. From there it's slow breathing and relaxing as she eases shadow from her right forearm. It snakes and curls across her body like a myriad of thin black worms until it comes to pool on her stomach. There she seeks out the spot she was implanted at ... and desires to re-open that wound with the shadow and ooze the shadow in to search out the eggs. They would have spread out from that spot, after all.

It's an odd sensation, since there is very little scar tissue in the wound. The shadow thin to the thickness of paper to slice through, and it feels like the ultimate papercut as a result. Nicora's tail is curled and arched around to watch. After pushing through, the shadow finally breaches the muscle layer into the abdominal cavity.

"This doesn't feel good," Nicora murumurs to the others, "But it is not agonizing." Another few deep breaths and she fans out hundrends of thin shadow-tendrils throughout her abdomen, searching out anything that doesn't feel like part of her. It also makes her stomach squirm and move about like she were full of dozens of small snakes to those who are watching.

It's not exactly 'empty space' outside of the organs. There's goo.. or rather, fat filling most of it. It's disturbing to feel like your internal organs are suspended in jelly. One of the tendrils encounters something that's not jelly though, but doesn't feel like an organ or a muscle. It's more rigid.

Nicora coils that tendril around it, poking and prodding at it gently, taking care to not puncture it with the shadow, as well as judge its size.

It's the size of a (non-Kadie-farmed) walnut, and has a similar texture. It doesn't move much at all, and the tendril finds several points where it seems to merged into the fat - or at least into the larger blood vessels.

Nicora's brow furrows slightly. She tries to curl the shadow around the points where it connects to her vessel, then to slowly constrict and 'choke' it to see how things ... react.

Alptraum says, "Each egg would be baseball sized by then I suspect?"

At first there doesn't seem to be a physical reaction on the egg's part - but then Nicora begins to feel a flush of adrenaline and a painful jab at her heart. It feels like her heart is spasming!

Nicora immediately releases the tendrils and hopes the spasming stops! "Ooookay," she murmurs to the others, "It can affect my heart."

"What did you do, exactly?" Kaira asks.

Nicora's heart calms down once the constriction of the blood vessels eases.

"I tried cutting off one's link to my blood vessel," Nicora says. She nudges and pokes at the object with the shadow to see if it squirms, twitches, or reacts to contact ... or if others nearby react, to help locate them.

They don't react to being bumped into it seems. The three on her right side are packed together fairly closely, while those on her left seem more 'loose'.

"It may have thought you were having a heart-attack and released something to restart your heart," Kaira suggests.

Nicora spends more time and locates each of the six eggs within her, noting their position to those sitting near her. "Should I try to remove them? Or is that dangerous?" she asks the others, "What should I try?"

"See if you can ken one of them without causing a reaction," Kaira suggests.

Nicora engulfs one of the eggs; then starts to ooze the shadow into it slowly, to see if it reacts. "There has to be a away to survive these," she thinks in one of the moments she pauses, just before pushing the shadow deeper through the wrinkly shell.

It's very different from kenning a person or even an animal. The 'egg' case is itself somewhat alive, and inside is the coiled up larva - little more than worm, really. It doesn't even have proper skin yet, bathed in a mixture of yolk and Nicora's own blood. Even the yolk is alive in some sense, producing chemicals used by the larva and to signal the host body with. Of course, it's frozen by the kenning process. To the other eggs it might appear dead now, but.. they aren't reacting. Maybe it requires trauma and the release of the proper chemicals to signal the others.

"I can ken them without it reacting," Nicora confirms to the others, "It's ... half-formed. Very ... alien? I can't quite explain it. Should I devour it and see how the others react?"

"Are you inside the egg?" Kaira asks. "Are you going to devour the whole thing, or just the larva? Remember what I warned about internal bleeding if the egg's links are severed."

"I'm inside it. Would devouring the worm be safe? That would leave the egg ... won't that cause me problems too?" Nicora asks in a soft voice.

"I don't know," Kaira says. "But killing the worm would give us time to worry about the eggs."

"But it also might alert the others," Nicora says worriedly. "I could kill just one and see how the others react? If they ... panic, then we know this way is dangerous."

"Cross your fingers," Kaira says, even if nobody understands the idiom.

"I'm going to absorb one ... and see how others react. If it isn't too bad, I'll try to absorb the remaining five, and leave the eggshells. Maybe my body will absorb those," Nicora murmurs,

Nicora takes a deep breath ... then diffuses the shadow throughout the interior of that kenned egg. Another breath; then Nicora's shadow devours the larvae!

There's a moment of inactivity, and then Nicora can feel the emptied egg burst open! The other eggs begin to react as well. With the larva gone.. could the egg be reacting as if the larva had birthed itself?

"They're active!" Nicora says, her voice tinged with panic! She tries, tries, to remain calm and send tendrils of shadow to each egg, preparing to devour all of them quickly. If they burst, she's already a bleed risk, so she has to move fast. "Get the lught ready, I may need it very soon..." she says.

The next egg is enveloped completely this time, but even as it's absorbed the one next to it hatches, releasing it's contents into the body cavity - including the immature larva. The others near to hatching as well, each reacting depending on how far it is from another hatching egg.

Nicora bites her lip and concentrates. She moves the shadow as quickly as she can, trying to hunt down the larvae fast and devour it before it can do any real damage. she isn't even thinking that she's probably bleeding inside right now.

"You can't use the Light until the shadow is withdrawn!" Kaira yelps, as Tulani grasps the hilt of her saber and begins to draw it.. only to slam it back in at the warning.

Everything is a mess inside, and the remaining eggs are breaking open as well. There's no way to tell if the immature, skinless larvae can survive at all outside of their eggs... unless of course they are exposed to the Light of Nala before perishing.

"Focus on sealing those blood vessels," Kaira suggests in a bit of panic. "The longer you can hold out on your own, the better the chances of the bugs dying."

"Stay calm, stay calm. Just hunt them down. Devour them. The Light can save me, it has to," Nicora thinks ... though with Kaira's suggestion, her plan changes. She focuses on blocking bleeding now with shadow plugs, and hopes the larvae just die.

Once her heartbeat calms a bit, Nicora can feel.. struggling. The larvae aren't dead yet, but they feel like they're in distress - and moving. They might even be trying to return to their burst eggs, following the spill of nutrients.

Mave takes Nicora's left hand in her own, and smiles to her. "Don't worry.." she says.

Since Nicora has the shadow near that spot, blocking the bleeding, she tries to use it ti also prevent the larvae from getting back into their eggs. And if she's lucky, consume them.

"No, maybe she should worry," Tulani suggests suddenly. "These things boost your healing, right? But is that done by the eggs or by the larvae themselves? You're bleeding and hurt, so.. maybe they'll expend themselves trying to keep you alive?"

Slurp! One more larva down, three to go.

"It's honestly hard not to panic," Nicora mutters, "When tou have living death in your gut..." So, yes, she's still panicy as she tries to keep bleeding stopped and remove the remaining larvae.

"It's probably the eggs that.." Kaira starts to say, then pauses. "Maybe it is the larvae? They aren't supposed to survive the fourth trial after all.."

"Never mind all that, just hold yourself together and kill the bugs," Mave says. "Whatever your condition is, the worms will be concerned with their survival right now."

Nicora takes a risk ... she quits stopping one of the bleeding points; exposing her internals to the wound there ... to see if the larvae try to help and burn themselves out.

Not all of the worms are finding their way back to where they hatched. One is definitely going the wrong way, and pays the price: a spasm of Nicora's diaphragm may have just squashed it.

And Nicora sends a tendril of shadow to remove that corpse!

Confused by the influx of blood, the other worms move in circles, until they start moving towards the broken blood vessels. But are they going to block them, or use them to try to escape?

Nicora has the shadow lurk, waiting. If they get close to tthe wound, she'll devour.

It seems like a good plan, since one of them heads right into the shadow. Still in semi-Ken mode, Nicora can feel that the larva was beginning to dissolve. Is unfiltered blood too acidic for the defenseless creatures?

The last one falls short of its goal, and just stops moving.

"I'm winning. I think. Maybe," Nicora murmurs. She doesn't panic-attack them now, but waits for them to come to her, so to speak. Almost done. Almost ... and she sends the shadow out and around the one that stops, absorbing it.

"Thinking she's now safe, she says, "Draw the light now. They're dead. And ... I'm bleeding. A lot."

"Wait until she's got the shadow withdrawn," Kaira reminds Tulani again, causing the Sphynx to growl.

Once Nicora is sure she has them all, she withdraws the shadow quickly. "I hope this was the right thing to do," she thinks.

As soon as the black substance has retreated into Nicora's hand, Tulani stabs her in the gut with the light of Nala. It hurts at first, but then.. Nicora isn't feeling any pain.

"And I thought hypodermic needles were bad," Kaira comments.

It probably doesn't help that Nicora screams when she's stabbed. It's brief .. but wow do Eeee have vocal ranges.

"Now now, no need for screaming," Mave notes, and asks Tulani, "How long do you have to poke her for?"

"Uh, I have no idea," Tulani admits. "The last I did this was to blow up that Dack guy.."

"That wasn't the good kind of penetration," Nicora growls. "The pain is gone, so you can probably pull out."

"I think pulling out and checking progress might be best then," Kaira suggests. And Tulani sheepishly withdraws the blade and sheathes it.

There isn't any entry wound, naturally (or unnaturally).

Nicora lets out a long sigh. "I don't want a pregnancy like that ever again," she mutters.

"Oh, normal ones aren't that different," Mave claims. "They just last much longer, and there's more goo at the end.."

"I'll never have to deal with that, either," Nicora quips as she sits up. she's still shaking a bit, but relieved that it's over; even if it also leaves her feeling a little ... empty.

"You might want to do another shadow check," Kaira suggests. "Just in case you want to clean up any egg debris you find."

Frowning, Nicora extrudes the shadow again and plunges it into herself to look for any remnants. "I doubt there is anything left," she mutters.

If there are any fragments, they're too small for Nicora to detect. The dragon is a worry-wart.

Nicora draws the shadow back out, shaking her head. "I'm parasite free," she declares.

"Think you can stay that way now?" Kaira teases.

"Probably not," Nicora retorts, then rolls her eyes.

"Well, if you don't need me, I'll go deal with my own parasites," the dragon notes, then winks out.

Nicora stretches upward. "Well, that is a relief. I won't be eaten from the inside out now," she says as she 'deflates'. "And I'm immune to that type of infection again, supposedly."

"What else are you going to deal with on the Path of Affliction?" Tulani asks Nicora, her tongue sticking out of the side of her muzzle.

"No idea," Nicora admits, "But surely it can't be worse than that."

"Hopefully Gorphat didn't hear you say that," Mave notes. "But I doubt she can eavesdrop in her sister's house."

"She does want me to survive you know. I would then be her only Daughter until Phlagaea is through giving birth," Nicora points out. "Besides, I still have her other blessings."

"Mmmmm," Mave comments. "They only apply to Nicora though, and you're hardly ever her except when taking Gorphat's challenges."

"Is that a problem?" Nicora asks.

"No, but you have to have invoke Inala's blessing first in order for Gorphat's to take effect," Mave notes, smiling and looking a bit smug.

"And I also like bedding her Demon when I'm Snowcora," Nicora remarks, smirking. "And I feel like invoking Inala's blessing right now, in fact!"

"Is this really an.. what, here?" Tulani asks. "You don't mean to use that crazy guy in the dungeon do you?"

"No, I could just use Mave," Nicora says, "Knowing that she'll be making love to a Yodhgorphat..." Again, she smirks, "But .... I should probably do more useful things."

"Or rest," Tulani suggests. "Unless you want to go fishing for crazies in the undercity again, that is!" The Sphynx really enjoyed that, apparently.

"Or check in at the Salon for any new rumors," Nicora points out.

"But that would mean being a mute cat and I know you hate that," she adds.

"It's been a few days, they're probably getting worried about Pierce," Tulani agrees. "I suppose that counts as resting?"

"It does, really. They don't work me that hard and they're generally nice," Nicora admits, stretching out again. "So, fetch my savanite attire and I'll shift?"

"Okay, your wish is my command," Tulani says, making a flamboyant bow. "I should probably get dressed as well.."

"Going to chain Pierce up?" Nicora has to ask as she makes a swat for Tulani's tail.

"I'll just have to unchain him later, but if you want.." Tulani says, as she gets the chains. "You might regret it though!" she adds with a feline grin.

"I miss it," Nicora admits, grinning.

And with that, Nicora flops onto her back again for her second use of the shadow today; a shift into a male savanite; the bizarre slave, Pierce. As her eyes close, she licks her lips, knowing that when those eyes open again that they'll be in a mute body. It's always an experience to be the cat. And out the shadow flows to reshape flesh...

Tulani is waiting when the shadow withdraws again, 'lacing up' Pierce with the chain and lock, and then getting the rest of his 'gear' on. She hasn't gotten dressed yet though, and manages to rub against the cheetah at every opportunity.. just to torture him because the chains would make certain reactions rather unpleasant.

And Pierce allows himself to be dressed without complaint or resistance as any good slave would. His expression, though, twitches often as the chain does its intended job nicely and the significant discomfort that comes each time he starts to get aroused prevents him from ever being fully aroused. By the time Tulani is done dressing him, he swats her butt for the torment.

"Just for that, you get to dress me now," Tulani says, and gestures to the pile of clothes she's picked out. Mave just smokes her pipe and watches with an amused air.

Pierec sticks out his studded tongue at Mave, just before going to dress Tulani. He's actually more evil that she was. He licks her, nips here here and there, and even pauses to suckle on sensitive bits as he dresses her very slowly. And to make it worse, his hands massage and feel up the Sphynx, just to add to it. He doesn't admit it, but focusing on tormenting Tulani actually helps keep him from becoming too excited again; too much focus on making the Sphynx squeak!

Of course, Tulani actually enjoys it.. and it's also an effort to avoid triggering his own arousal while doing it, Pierce finds. "Let's go, before I decide to get your leash," the winged cat purrs.

Pierce purrs at Tulani and does a bit more, perhaps encouraging her to get the leash! He's a misbehaving kitty.

So.. of course she gets the leash! Then it's down the secret passages leading to the city streets, and the long walk to Cenesta Plaza. Plenty of time for things to 'cool down', until..

Slaves to Art
This upscale salon for slaves offers many services, from grooming to body art. Like many stores under the upper deck of the plaza, it doubles as a support tower, and is cylindrical in shape, with partitions added to separate it into multiple rooms. Unlike traditional Babelite homes, it lacks the overall openness, with relatively narrow halls and 'doors' made from hanging strands of beads. The main room has several grooming stations, a few of them specifically for the more procedures like piercing and tattooing.

The bell chimes as the pair enter, and all eyes turn to them. Not just the staff, but.. there are a lot of customers today, getting their faces (and bodies) painted in the same fashion Helse does. And Pierce knows them: the Gigi dance troupe (plus one human)!

Pierce grins and waves to the troupe from the end of the leash attached to his collar. Helse and the Naga, though, get a polite bow from the savanite; recognizing their position as his superiors. "Why does it not surprise me they're in here?" he thinks. "But at least they're occupied!"

Helse and Sephia come right up. "You've been absent," Helse chides (mainly to Pierce, but her gaze seems to include Tulani as well). "There is a backlist of clients now." Sephia is silent, but does tickle Pierce's ear with her tongue.

Pierce's ears droop and he dips his head in apology to Helse. Said drooped ear ends up flicking when it's licked and he glances at the Naga out of the corner of his eye. "A backlog must mean at least I'm popular," he thinks.

"Now get to your room and get ready," Helse notes. "I'll send some messengers out. Stud bucks should be more reliable you know." That last bit gets the attention of the dancers, who start whispering among themselves (in Gigi, of course).

Seeing a chance for some revenge, Tulani tells the dancers, "Group rates negotiable.."

Pierce waits for his leash to be released (if not detached), then bows to Helse and Tulani. After a hidden poke to Sephia, Pierce slinks towards the back and to the area designated as his 'room'.

Helse follows soon after, and removes Pierce's loincloth and chain. "Your master should have told us you were occupied," she notes, "so that we would not be worried."

"It was unexpected. I am sorry. We should have sent a message," Pierce signs to Helse soon after he's left just wearing a couple veils, his collar, and arm-chains. "It is nice to be back. This place feels like a second home."

"Nice?" Helse asks. "Did you miss me?" She's sitting in the cheetah's lap when she asks it. Today her 'clothing' is a series of colorful beetle drawings and loop from hip to shoulder, each one a different color of the rainbow.

"Of course," Pierce signs, then licks her from the base of her neck to the tip of her chin. He then kisses the tip of her nose.

As Helse settles in to the lovemaking, there's some chatting out in the main room that's hard to focus on (being a Savanite means being partially 'blind' to an Eeee, after all).

And Pierce's movement is one who did miss the place and his surrogate 'Master'. He's gentle, caressing, makes sure he covers every part of her body, and his combined twelve studs make for quite the experience. He's so focused he only passingly notices the conversation, and only wishes he could hear it for just a moment .. then another kiss brings his focus right back to Helse.

By the time Helse has been satisfied, the results of her messengers are starting to arrive. The familiar wet-nurse slave appears with two Savanite girls. They're both prettier than average, and share several features with the wet-nurse.. so are likely her own daughters or closely related (which would make the nurse very well preserved, since the girls are in their late post-blooming teens at least).

"Wow, I am going to be busy. Very very busy," Pierce thinks when the other Savanites arrive. He stretches out, lengthening his already thin and highly decorated body, then waves to the three ladies. A purr accentuates the wave.

The mother approaches, and signs, "I must drain you first. This is their first time, I want them to enjoy it, but not worry about becoming mothers."

Pierce blinks several times at that. That's got to be the first time he's ever been told that before. He slides to the side a bit, then pats the spot next to him. His hand then comes up and offers to guide her down. He isn't quite sure how she intends to drain him, but he hopes it's something .. normal.

It is normal, although the woman may be 'showing off' a bit to ease any worries her daughters might have. Apparently her plan is to just make sure Pierce doesn't have time to 'reload' before introducing him to the girls.

Which also means he won't necessarily enjoy it in quite the same way with the daughters, but that doesn't mean he won't have the same enthusiasm. It just allows him to focus more on them when their time comes and make sure they enjoy it.

The two girls turn out to be alternately shy (needing extra foreplay) and crazy (they have a lot of energy and don't get to use it very often). This leaves Pierce quite exhausted and not a little sore, but the mother seems satisfied with the results.

And Pierce tries to encourage what they want to do, but not force them. Even though it doesn't end in quite the same explosive way for him this time, he's still very satisfied. He's also sprawled out on the bed-nest, looking a a bit fluffed, and panting. "I would never survive Barinala training," he decides.

He doesn't get to rest for long, as Sephia slithers into the room. Her arms are full of bowls and bottles and clothes however, which she sets out next to Pierce's hips.

Pierce sits up slowly to watch the Naga. He's suddenly sure she's up to something, again. "What is this for?" he signs to the naga. Maybe she intends to paint him?

"Relaxxxx," the serpent hisses, as she mixes fluids from the bottles into the bowl. She dips a cloth into it.. and then starts cleaning Pierce's genitals with it (being careful of the rings). There's some sort of menthol in it though, causing a chilling tingle.

Pierce's tail twitches. "More additions down there?" he signs before he lies back. He knows there is no real point in arguing since she'll bite him if he struggles any.

The wash-massage seems to revive Pierce's flagging enthusiasm.. with a vengeance! Whatever that stuff is, it's making him almost painfully aroused now.

"Ouch" the Savanite signs as things get very uncomfortable. He even thinks of that Bargorphat he saw with the curse and how uncomfortable that had to be. It also makes him feel every single one of his embedded studs. At one point he shifts a bit and makes a small mewl sound.

Pierce also begins to wonder if Gorphat is punishing this form too.

Once it's clear the condition isn't going away, Sephia mounts the Savanite and presses him down with all her weight - effectively holding him captive while she does all the moving. "You not sssstay away sssso long again," she hisses to him, and then teases his throat with her fangs.

This causes the savanite to yowlp in surprise! Not to mention it's quite uncomfortable to have a lot of heavy serpent eight on him, and then squeezing sensitive areas! "Guess missed me" he signs with one free hand as his body goes still. Those fangs scare him; and she's never been that shy about biting him!

Sephia doesn't bite, but she does unhinge her jaw for a full-face 'kiss' a few times. It seems to go on forever, until the Naga is sufficiently warmed up or pleased, it's hard to tell with her. When she slides off Pierce, it's both welcome and shocking. That menthol elixir makes him feel cold where he's now exposed, but that does nothing to affect things. Of course, as the Naga passes through the bead curtains, the cheetah notices two of the Gigis (are they all sisters?) watching and naked save for the flowery patterns painted onto their fur. And with them is also Lain, the human of the group, painted to look like she's wrapped in seaweed.

"We paid the Sphynx," Lain notes with her exotic accent.

"I will never walk again. Ever," Pierce weakly thinks once the Naga has left him in his 'nest'. He takes a deep breath, then waves to the two Gigi's and the human. He also definitely feels like he's got another Gorphat curse at this point with how parts of him feel. Still, he manages to smile to the three and pat his nest, inviting them. "If you have paid, then I am yours until you are satisfied," he signs to them.

It doesn't help that all three approach at the same time. Did he really comment to Tulani that they don't overwork him here at the Salon?

"I will get revenge on Tulani, somehow. Maybe Sephia will give me some of that liquid and I'll use it on her when she's asleep! It would serve her right," The savanite thinks as he settles in for the three. He also decides this time she had better share the profits! Or else! The else might take a bit, though. He's going to be waddling for several days...
